Job summary

Boly-Welch Inc. seeks an Associate Attorney for their Seattle office to handle defense litigation across various practice areas. You will manage cases from inception through trial, conducting investigations and discovery, preparing witnesses, and drafting pleadings and motions.

The role requires a JD and active Oregon and/or Washington State Bar membership, with 3+ years of litigation experience. A hybrid schedule and a supportive firm culture are emphasized.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation experience (preferably in personal injury defense, employment, or commercial litigation)
• Oregon and/or Washington State Bar membership
• JD (Juris Doctor) degree required

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from start to finish, both independently and on a team
• Conduct investigations and manage discovery
• Prepare witnesses and take/defend depositions
• Write pleadings, briefs, and motions and review contracts
• Prepare for and attend trials and hearings
• Collaborate with colleagues and maintain proactive client service
