Job summary

Snohomish County Human Services is hiring one Part-Time Energy Assistant II (20 hours per week) funded through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The successful candidate will work minimally 1 day per week in the office, possibly more depending on program needs.

This position performs high-volume direct services, creates, supports, and tracks applications; gathers and analyzes documents to support the process; collaborates with partners and vendors; and conducts outreach

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Energy Assistance or Weatherization programs.
• Experience determining eligibility for income-based grants.
• Experience in grant-funded programs preferred (LIHEAP/DOE programs).

Responsibilities

• Assists clients in completing forms and calculates eligibility.
• Enters data into Weatherization/County systems and manages files.
• Provides outreach on energy conservation and weatherization practices.
• Supports audits, training, and technical assistance for staff.
