Job summary

Snohomish County Human Services Department seeks an Energy Weatherization Assistant II for part-time, project-based work at the Main County Campus in Everett, WA. The role supports LIHEAP and Weatherization programs with high volume client services and data management.

The position requires working at least one in-office day per week, with possible additional days based on program needs; strong mathematical and data-entry skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience in Energy Assistance or Weatherization programs; or an equivalent combination of training and/or experience with preference given to LIHEAP experience.
• Must be able to review and calculate income sources and determine eligibility for income-based programs.
• Candidates must pass job-related tests and meet special certification requirements as described.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in completing forms and compute eligibility accurately.
• Enter data into Weatherization Information Data System and County access-based systems; manage files and scans.
• Review client files for contract compliance and proper document order.
• Provide outreach with energy conservation information and guidance on Mold/Lead safety practices.
• Assist with determining program eligibility and income types; refer to Community Service Agencies as needed.
• Respond to phone inquiries and route calls; maintain office supplies and records.
• Support documentation and audits for LIHEAP/weatherization programs.
• Coordinate with partners and vendors; support training and technical assistance.
