Job summary

P2S|CMTA is seeking a Lighting Designer in Long Beach, CA, with 1-4 years of architectural lighting design experience. You will support the design team, prepare documentation, perform calculations, and contribute to design presentations and construction docs.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years’ experience in architectural lighting design.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Lighting Design or related field.
• Working knowledge of energy codes; Lighting Certified (LC) preferred; professional societies encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lighting design documentation and calculations.
• Document lighting layouts in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Assist with design presentations and construction documentation.
• Review submittals and respond to inquiries during construction.
• Occasional travel for site visits and project work.
• Support marketing efforts and studio collaboration.
