Job summary

P2S Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for our San Diego, CA location. The role focuses on sustainable design, electrical schematics, and lighting systems within hybrid in-office/remote teams.

You will contribute to multi-disciplinary projects across markets and apply industry standards. The candidate should have 2-5 years of electrical design experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit, and familiarity with Title 24.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Electrical Engineering or related field
• 25 years of electrical design experience
• Experience with lighting design is a plus
• Familiarity with Title 24 compliance is a plus
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is required

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical design and field surveys for projects
• Prepare electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
• Design lighting and power distribution systems
• Coordinate with MEP disciplines using CAD/BIM
• Assist with fire alarm layouts and NFPA 72 when needed
• Review RFIs and support construction administration
