P2S|CMTA is seeking a Lighting Designer in Long Beach, CA, with 1-4 years of architectural lighting design experience. You will support the design team, prepare documentation, perform calculations, and contribute to design presentations and construction docs.
The role blends in-office and remote work (3 days in-office / 2 remote) within a collaborative studio, with opportunities to own lighting design tasks, engage in design input, and advance through a growing practice.

Schedule: 3 days In-office / 2 Remote
Salary Range: $90,000 -115,000 (depending on experience). This role is also eligible for an annual performance‑based bonus. Bonus eligibility and payout are determined by role, individual performance, and company performance, and are not guaranteed.

This position is for individuals with 1-4 years of experience in lighting design. As a Lighting Designer you will be supporting the design team and projects in all aspects and phases. You will work alongside the design team in preparing documentation to present lighting, testing and validating the design with mock‑ups and calculations, and having a key role executing technical documentation. While primarily a supportive role you will be expected to offer design input and owning a space in the growing studio.
