Job summary

Farmers is seeking a Life Insurance Servicing Representative who will act as a subject matter expert on complex insurance issues, provide coaching to team members, and ensure operational efficacy within the department. You will conduct audits, identify training needs, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve escalated issues with a goal of one-contact resolution.

A high school diploma is required, a bachelor's degree is preferred, and licensing may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years of life insurance experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, complex customer environments.
• Salary varies by location with state-specific ranges provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as subject matter expert to support peer learning and growth.
• Conduct call quality audits and report results to leadership.
• Identify training needs and coach or train less experienced team members.
• Respond to inquiries related to insurance matters requiring expert support.
• Document customer interactions and outcomes thoroughly in system.
• Resolve escalated issues with goal of one-contact resolution.
• Stay informed about underwriting and policy guidelines and other updates including compliance.
• Back-up Customer Care Rep or Supervisor duties as needed.
