Job summary

Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a Sr. Life Sales Specialist for our Just-in-Time, telephone-based life and annuity sales support team. The role focuses on coaching agents, analyzing client data, and promoting insurance solutions to member clients.

Based in a home-office setting with a hybrid schedule after 90 days, the position requires life/health licensing and strong communication skills to drive growth across agents and client portfolios.

Qualifications

• Life/Health license required or willingness to obtain within 9 months.
• Industry designations (CLU, ChFC, CFP) are a plus.
• Prior insurance sales experience is highly desired.
• Able to deliver group presentations in person or on webinars.
• Some overnight travel will be required.
• Comfort with Microsoft Office, email, CRM systems, and illustration software.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to sales resource for agents promoting life, annuity, and other financial products as solutions for client/members.
• Coach, train, and motivate agents over the phone in the sales process.
• Analyze client data to recommend optimal life and annuity product mixes.
• Assist agents in servicing existing policies.
• Discuss life insurance and retirement plan options for individuals and business owners.
• Discuss applying life, annuity, and other financial solutions in various sales scenarios.
• Support agents in utilizing sales illustration and tools software.
• Proactively reach out to agents through outbound campaigns to uncover opportunities and drive growth.
