Job summary

The Cigna Group is seeking a Life Insurance Account Analyst to support our COLI team in Bloomfield, CT. This hybrid role combines client servicing, case management, and workflow improvements within a collaborative environment.

You will learn our universal life products and progressively assume own cases while coordinating with brokers and clients. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree (preferred), 1+ years in customer support or business experience, and familiarity with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based software applications (MS Office).
• 1+ years of customer support or business experience.
• If servicing variable products, FINRA Series 6 & 63 must be completed within 6 months.
• Successfully complete 3 or more CLU exams within 2 years of hire.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process life insurance transactions for Corporate Owned Universal Life Insurance clients (e.g. death claims, premium payments, surrenders, withdrawals, loans, lapse mailings).
• Independently manage and perform case and policy servicing for universal life products.
• Manage renewal processes per case profile and renewal calendar, adapting to plan design changes.
• Maintain advanced knowledge of Corporate Insurance products and perform analysis.
• Act as primary client contact for issue identification and resolution with brokers and insureds.
