Job summary

Ameritas is seeking a Client Service Specialist for Life Insurance, Annuity, and Disability to support policyholders and field partners with timely, accurate service. The role trains as a hybrid position (3 days in office per week) in Lincoln, NE or Cincinnati, OH with potential for in-office, hybrid, or fully remote work after training.

You will handle calls, data gathering, and problem resolution while aiming for first-call resolution, balancing multiple tasks, and maintaining high service

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required.
• 0-2 years of related experience requested or preferred.
• Previous call center or customer service experience is highly preferred.
• Insurance or financial services experience is a plus.
• FINRA Series 99 license is preferred but not required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Computer experience in database, word processing and internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with policyholders and field partners by telephone, e-mail or written means.
• Expedite service requests for life, annuity and disability policies.
• Anticipate customer needs to meet or exceed service standards.
• Obtain and analyze data to provide accurate responses.
