Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA, a division of a global food retailer, seeks a Licensing Compliance Specialist. You will research, obtain and process licenses and permits for existing stores and new acquisitions, and maintain records in the Licensing Compliance Records Management system.

You will work with government agencies to support WIC and SNAP program compliance, and help ensure renewals and inquiries are handled accurately.

• Associate's Degree; 2-4 years of administration responsibility

• Maintain strict confidentiality due to the sensitive and personal data handled

Responsibilities

• Research, obtain and process local, state and federal licenses and permits for existing locations, new stores and acquisitions by compiling required information and completing/submitting applications.
• Apply for and obtain required licensing for specialized departments such as pharmacy and fuel.
• Maintain all records in Licensing Compliance Records Management database.
• Serve as corporate licensing contact, receiving and relaying pertinent information from licensing agencies and assisting business areas.
• Complete administrative tasks such as submission of check requests and coordination with Accounts Payable.
• Distribute and ensure all locations have licenses/permits documents posted.
• Ensure proper administration of state WIC Programs and SNAP; apply for store authorizations and price surveys.
• Assist manager in researching licensing requirements for all operating stores.
• Notify agencies when a store is closed or moved and return licenses and paperwork accordingly.
