Peninsula Insurance is seeking a licensed insurance professional in Michigan for a client service role focused on helping clients understand coverage, resolve questions, explain options in plain language, and navigate their policies with confidence.

This is a relationship‑driven, hybrid position with initial in‑person training in Okemos and expanding remote flexibility as you become familiar with our systems, clients, and workflows.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Property & Casualty license.
• 1+ years of personal lines insurance experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Professional, dependable, and team-oriented.
• Comfortable using multiple technology systems.
• Genuinely enjoys helping people and solving problems.

Responsibilities

• Answer client questions about policies and coverage.
• Explain coverage options in plain language.
• Assist clients with policy changes and endorsements.
• Help retain existing clients by reviewing coverage and identifying solutions.
• Assist clients with billing questions and help report and navigate claims.
• Communicate with insurance companies on clients' behalf.
• Provide ongoing service after policies are written.
• Build lasting client relationships through proactive communication.
• Document client conversations and policy activity accurately.
• Take ownership of client issues and follow through until resolved.
