Job summary

CCMSI in the Chicago area is seeking a Multi-Line Liability Claim Representative I to handle the investigation and adjustment of multi-line liability claims in a hybrid work model.

The role requires 3+ years of liability claim experience, strong communication, organization, and client-focused skills. A Bachelor's in Risk Management or Insurance is preferred; bilingual ability is a plus. CCMSI offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years liability claim experience or insurance related experience
• Claim handling in IL jurisdiction

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims following CCMSI guidelines
• Review medical, legal and miscellaneous invoices and negotiate disputed bills
• Authorize and pay multi-line liability claims within authority
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys
• Assist in selection and supervision of defense attorneys
• Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves
• Provide reports to excess insurers and ensure compliance with service commitments
• Deliver quality claim service to clients
