Job summary

CCMSI in Lisle, IL is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claim Supervisor to lead investigation, adjustment and supervision of assigned claims. This role may serve as advanced training for future management opportunities, and it emphasizes quality service in line with CCMSI's standards.

You will review and supervise claim activity, investigate and adjust claims, manage reserves, oversee invoices, authorize payments, and negotiate settlements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Workers’ Compensation claims handling
• Demonstrated ability to lead and oversee adjusters
• Strong understanding of Illinois Workers’ Compensation regulations
• Effective communication with adjusters, clients, and internal partners
• Knowledge of WC adjusting workflows
• Reliable attendance during Lisle, IL branch hours

Responsibilities

• Review, assign and supervise all claim activity to ensure compliance with standards
• Investigate, evaluate and adjust assigned claims per standards and laws
• Establish and oversee reserves for designated claims
• Oversee medical/legal invoices and negotiate disputed bills
• Authorize and pay claims per procedures
• Negotiate settlements within standards and laws
• Assist in vendor referrals and external case management
• Direct handling of litigated and complex claims
• Provide education and training to staff
• Maintain diary on claim system
• Supervise activity for designated accounts
• Ensure compliance with client standards
