Job summary

CCMSI is seeking a Multi‑Line Liability Claim Representative I in the Chicago area. The hybrid role reports to the Chicago, IL region and may be performed remotely where authorized.

Salary offered ranges from $60,000 to $70,000 with typical benefits and opportunities for growth. The role handles full life‑cycle ML adjuster responsibilities, investigating and adjusting multi‑line liability claims, negotiating settlements, and ensuring quality claim service to clients while meeting corporate

Qualifications

• 3+ years liability claim experience required.
• Experience with commercial property, inland marine and auto claims preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to coordinate and prioritize with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and adjust multi-line liability claims using CCMSI guidelines and supervision.
• Evaluate claims involving damage to property, inland marine equipment, and autos.
• Review medical, legal and invoices to determine relevance and reasonableness; negotiate disputes.
• Authorize and pay multi-line liability claims within settlement authority.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys per client authorization.
• Assist in selecting and supervising defense attorneys.
• Assess and monitor subrogation claims for resolution.
• Prepare reports detailing claims, payments and reserves.
