Job summary

AvonRisk is seeking a dynamic Liability Claims Adjuster to join our team in a hybrid role requiring in-office presence on select days. The role focuses on investigation, administration and settlement of automobile, property and general liability claims.

You will evaluate liability and damages, read policies, negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys, and coordinate with clients, their employees and legal counsel. A state license and excellent communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Investigate and evaluate liability and damages across auto, property, and general liability claims.
• Read and interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and obligations.
• Maintain compliance with MMSEA reporting and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Investigate new claims and initiate timely contacts with clients, employees, claimants and legal counsel.
• Evaluate liability and damages, address time limit demands.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys and draft settlement documents.
• Report to clients and excess carriers regarding claim status and actions taken.
• Communicate clearly with clients, adjusters, and defense counsel as needed.
• Meet with clients and management to review claims and cost reports.
