Job summary

Northbridge Financial is actively hiring a Claims Adjuster who will be part of a dynamic Casualty and Litigation team. You will investigate, assess coverage and damages, and work with third parties and counsel to drive claims to conclusion.

The role requires experience in liability claims, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to communicate with claimants, brokers, and legal counsel. Hybrid work and competitive compensation are offered.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education in an Insurance focused program or related program.
• Completed or working towards the CIP designation.
• A minimum of 3 years of liability claim handling experience, preferably with commercial lines.

Responsibilities

• Adjudicating intermediate to complex claims, including files in litigation.
• Confirming coverage and completing a liability investigation.
• Preparing file summaries for internal reporting, large loss, and reinsurance.
• Effectively managing a busy day to day schedule.
• Providing a great Customer experience.
