Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience handling liability claims (commercial auto PD/BI, general liability PD/BI)
• College degree preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Licensing requirements as applicable to states of operation

Responsibilities

• Investigate new claims and initiate timely contact with clients, employees, claimants and counsel
• Evaluate liability and damages and determine appropriate actions
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys
• Maintain MMSEA reporting compliance and other company policies
• Provide status reports to clients and excess carriers; coordinate with defense counsel as needed
• Meet with clients and account management to present claim reviews and settlement recommendations
