Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of law firm recruiting work experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and team-orientation.
• Strong organizational skills with superb attention to detail and self-direction.
• Ability to multi-task, manage, and prioritize projects effectively.
• Flexibility and professionalism in responding to shifting demands.
• Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential information professionally.
• Proficiency in MS Office and databases (LawCruit, Flo, viDesktop, iManage).

Responsibilities

• Manage onboarding lifecycle for incoming legal hires including lateral partners, counsel, associates, technology specialists and patent agents.
• Coordinate conflicts checks to ensure clearance prior to start date.
• Verify bar admissions and licensing status; track pending admissions and deadlines.
• Coordinate background checks and start dates with Human Resources.
• Serve as primary contact for new hires from offer to end of first 90 days.
• Arrange introductions with practice group leaders, firm leadership, mentors, and administrative contacts.
• Facilitate transition of client files for lateral attorneys with relevant departments.
• Support summer associate and first-year programs, including orientation logistics.
