Job summary

McGinnis Lochridge is seeking a highly organized Legal Recruiting Coordinator to support attorney recruiting, law student hiring, and summer programs. You will work with the Attorney Development & Recruiting Manager to deliver a seamless candidate experience and coordinate across multiple recruiting streams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, responsive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional environment, with strong communication and project-management

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years recruiting experience in a law firm, legal environment, or professional services preferred.
• Experience supporting attorney or law student recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems or recruiting databases is preferred.
• Experience with on-campus interviewing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of lateral attorney and law student recruiting, including postings, resume review, communications, interviews, and search firm coordination.
• Arrange interview logistics, identify interviewers, collect evaluations, and prepare feedback summaries.
• Source potential candidates through LinkedIn and legal databases.
• Coordinate due diligence including bar verification, background checks, and conflicts.
• Prepare and track offer and candidate correspondence.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in recruiting systems.
• Support onboarding and integration of new attorneys with the Recruiting Manager and attorneys.
