Job summary

McGinnis Lochridge seeks a highly organized Legal Recruiting Coordinator to support attorney recruiting, law student hiring, and the summer associate program. You will work closely with the Attorney Development & Recruiting Manager to deliver a seamless candidate experience and professional recruiting process.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and discretion in handling confidential information, with a focus on candidate experience and collaboration across firm

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in legal recruiting or professional services.
• 2+ years of recruiting, talent acquisition, or related experience in a law firm, legal environment, or professional services is preferred.
• Experience supporting attorney or law student recruiting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems, recruiting databases, or similar technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all phases of lateral attorney and law student recruiting, including postings, resume review, communications, interviews, and search firm coordination.
• Schedule interviews, collect evaluations, prepare feedback, and arrange candidate travel as needed.
• Sourcing potential candidates via LinkedIn, legal databases, and bar publications.
• Coordinate due diligence, bar verification, background and reference checks, conflicts information, and documentation.
• Prepare, distribute, and track offer and correspondence; maintain candidate records in recruiting systems.
