Job summary

WCL Group is seeking a Legal Operations Analyst to support the Legal Services team in Houston, TX. You will perform legal analysis, manage investigations, and improve processes under attorney guidance.

The role requires handling confidential information, coordinating with investigators, and delivering objective summaries for leadership. Hybrid onsite/remote schedule offered within a 1-year contract, with potential extension.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, law degree, or equivalent.
Integrity, discretion, and sound judgment for handling confidential information.
Experience with confidential matters, case management, or related work.
Ability to analyze and communicate legal issues across functions.
Strong organizational, proofreading, editing, research, and matter-management skills.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze reports, allegations, and case information per investigation processes.
Route matters, identify investigators, and prepare clear assignment communications.
Track matters from intake to closure with accurate records in EthicsPoint and other systems.
Monitor status, deadlines, aging matters, and follow-ups with stakeholders.
Prepare objective summaries of allegations, findings, and remedial actions for leadership.
Support Governance Board activities, reporting, and meeting preparation.
