Serrala is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the North America team from the Chicago hybrid office. You will work with the Associate General Counsel and global legal teams to steer contracts, compliance, and policy development across fintech sectors.

The role emphasizes fast-paced, deadline-driven work with exposure to software, data privacy, and anti-corruption issues, supporting regional legal operations and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience in either a law firm or corporate environment, ideally including at least 2 years in-house at a software or IT company.
• Licensed to practice law in the relevant state with knowledge of state and federal law.

Responsabilités

• Review, draft, and negotiate software contracts and IT-related agreements.
• Provide guidance on legal and regulatory issues to ensure compliance with federal and state laws.
• Develop and review policies and practices; monitor deadlines related to negotiations and regulatory matters.
