Serrala seeks a North America Legal Counsel to partner with the Associate General Counsel and global legal team. You will guide contract negotiations, ensure regulatory compliance across state and federal laws, and support policies for data privacy, information security, and anti-corruption.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate with bar admission in the U.S.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in law firms or corporate settings
• Experience in-house at software/IT company preferred
• Experience drafting/negotiating IT/software contracts
• Knowledge of state, federal, and international law
• Litigation exposure and risk assessment experience
• Ability to work with cross-cultural teams in a global firm
• Strong written and oral communication; adaptable under deadlines

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate software and technology contracts
• Provide guidance on regulatory issues for compliance programs
• Support policy development and internal processes
• Monitor deadlines for negotiations, claims, and litigation
• Stay current on fintech, data privacy, and emerging laws
• Represent Serrala in transactions and business matters
• Collaborate with North America and European legal teams
