Job summary

The Freeman Company is seeking a Project Designer - LED to plan, coordinate, and technically design LED requirements for produced events. This role educates technical staff, sales staff, show-site staff, and divisional leaders while interfacing with cross-divisional teams in support of the AV Production group.

Based in a hybrid work environment with 2–3 in-office or show-site days weekly, the ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX, Las Vegas, NV, or Orlando, FL and travel up to 25% as

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred; equivalent professional work experience accepted.
Minimum 10 years in live event production with at least 5 years in production management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients, sales, operations, and PMs to design events within budget.
Create diagrams for shows and ensure onsite staff understand them.
Schedule personnel to optimize resources.
Communicate load-in/load-out and installation details to the show site team.
Coordinate technical and labor crews and oversee LED planning.
Evaluate gear, electrical, rigging, and safety and propose improvements.
