Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services US is seeking a Lease Credit Analyst I (Auto Underwriter) to review consumer credit applications, assess history and risk, and deliver decision outcomes within our risk and compliance guidelines.

You will build dealer relationships, manage exceptions to credit authority, and communicate outcomes via phone and written notes while handling sensitive information with discretion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in auto finance or similar roles (customer service, collections, remarketing, loan processing or underwriting).
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Intermediate MS Office skills: Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate credit reports to determine risk in line with policy and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain dealer relationships ensuring volume and credit quality objectives.
• Manage exceptions to credit authority using judgment to achieve acceptable risk outcomes.
• Complete final disposition on credit applications with required verifications and due diligence.
• Interact with dealer partners, internal stakeholders and consumers to communicate credit review outcomes and respond to inquiries.
• Maintain confidentiality of personal information (SSN, DOB) and related data.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
