Stellantis Financial Services is seeking a Lease Credit Analyst I (Auto Underwriter) to assess credit applications and credit history, determining risk within policy and profitability models. The role emphasizes strong dealer relationships, adherence to regulations, and timely decision making.

Qualified applicants will have at least 2 years in auto finance or related fields, and a high school diploma or GED. Hybrid work with travel and varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Mathematics (percentages), reasoning ability, judgement, and customer-facing skills.
• Intermediate MS Office skill in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate credit reports and data to determine risk per policy and regulations.
• Develop and maintain strong dealer relationships to meet volume and credit quality objectives.
• Manage exceptions to published credit authority using judgment to achieve expected risk outcomes.
• Complete final disposition on credit applications, performing verifications and due diligence as needed.
• Interact with dealer partners, internal stakeholders and consumers, negotiate and provide credit review outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality due to access to personal consumer information.
• Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
