Job summary

Northern Illinois University’s Center for Governmental Studies seeks a Learning & Workforce Development Specialist to design and implement effective training and development programs. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field required.
• Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and curriculum development.
• Demonstrated experience as a trainer, presenter and facilitator.
• Experience in project management and evaluation.
• Familiarity with learning technologies and various authoring tools.
• Ability to research, analyze data, and support student/graduate services.

Responsibilities

• Research hard-to-reach program graduates and report on findings.
• Collaborate with Career Services to outreach to Illinois Works graduates via social media.
• Attend Career/Job Fairs to conduct research and evaluate events.
• Support special projects and conduct graduate-related research.
• Design and deliver instructional materials including e-learning modules and workshops.
• Coordinate live virtual sessions and ensure smooth technical delivery.
