Western Midstream seeks an experienced Instructional Designer to lead HSE&S learning programs, translating requirements into measurable curricula and multi-format training. You will work with technical owners, develop LMS-ready content, and drive onboarding frameworks while aligning with regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes creating role-based curricula, mastering evaluation metrics, and partnering with SMEs in a hybrid, field-involved environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in instructional design or related field.
• 5+ years designing adult learning for regulated environments.
• Translate SME content into clear objectives and activities.
• Proficient in Articulate Storyline and Rise 360; video/graphics skills.
• Experience publishing SCORM content in an LMS; SAP SuccessFactors preferred.
• Strong technical writing, facilitation, and project coordination.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience in safety/environmental/compliance training in industrial setting.
• Midstream/oil and gas experience preferred.
• Travel ~10–20%; eligible for company vehicle driving.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze roles, tasks, and learning needs with HSE&S owners; distinguish training needs from other improvements.
• Translate regulatory requirements and findings into role-based curricula.
• Define measurable objectives, learning paths, and assessment blueprints.
• Develop computer-based and instructor-led training, simulations, videos, and job aids.
• Collaborate with SMEs, manage development cycles, pilots, and field validation.
• Package and test learning products for the LMS, including navigation and reporting.
• Design knowledge checks and field activities; reserve decisions for evaluators.
• Co-own the HSE&S onboarding design framework with functional owners.
• Evaluate learning effectiveness and suggest improvements.
• Apply WES values and safe work practices in learning solutions.
