Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking an Instructional Designer to design, develop, and evaluate learning experiences for field operations, safety, and compliance. The role covers eLearning, ILT, virtual, microlearning, and blended programs with up to 20% travel.

You will partner with SMEs and manage multiple projects, using ADDIE/SAM models and tools like Articulate 360 and Camtasia to drive performance improvements across distribution and operations teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, Education, Training & Development, or related field.
Minimum 3+ years of professional experience with a proven portfolio.
CPTD, CPLP, or similar certification preferred.
Experience using AI-powered tools to support content development.

Responsibilities

Design and develop learning experiences for field operations, safety, and compliance.
Create multi-modal content (eLearning, ILT, virtual, microlearning, blended).
Develop assessments and evaluation strategies aligned to objectives and measure impact.
Collaborate with SMEs to translate expertise into training content.
Manage multiple instructional design projects and ensure quality and standards.
