Job summary

The Fleet Services Division of King County seeks a forward-thinking Continuous Improvement Program Manager who will partner with staff at all levels to lead meaningful improvement initiatives and shape management systems. You will coach teams, develop training, and deliver data-driven reports to drive measurable, positive change.

The hybrid role combines office and remote work, with primary onsite duties at King Street Center in Seattle.

Qualifications

• Experience applying continuous improvement principles (Lean, Six Sigma, PDCA, Kata) in complex operations.
• Proven ability to lead and coach cross-functional improvement projects.
• Experience creating and executing project plans to deliver measurable results.
• Ability to design and deploy management systems and standard work.
• Experience delivering training on improvement concepts and tools.
• Data-driven reporting experience for customers and leaders.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency with Excel and Power BI.
