Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation is seeking an instructional design professional to collaborate with department teams to close learning gaps and build targeted curricula across instructor-led, online, and blended formats.

The role focuses on designing learning solutions, coordinating program plans, and evaluating outcomes to drive business performance. Candidates should have a strong background in HRD/ID with experience leading projects and mentoring colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRD/OD/ID or related field plus 4 years in instructional design and/or development OR 8 years in related field.
• Experience leading small to mid-sized learning design/development projects.
• Knowledge of multiple instructional design modalities.
• Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
• Mentoring and coaching ability.
• Technical aptitude and analytical skill set.
• Analytical and deductive reasoning to identify solutions.
• Ability to work with diverse internal/external clients and SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departmental resources to identify business performance gaps and relevant learning needs.
• Lead the design strategy, needs analysis, and development of instructor-led, web-based, and blended learning solutions.
• Coordinate communication plans, curriculum maintenance, readiness, and evaluation of learning and business outcomes.
• Support a cross-functional team in a matrixed environment and manage curricula initiatives.
