Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a leader to drive Assortment Optimization for major category groups across its brands. You will oversee a team of analysts, leverage optimization tools, and partner with internal and external teams to ensure accurate, data-driven assortment decisions across in-store and ecommerce channels.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail or related tech roles, strong leadership and analytics, and a track record of cross-functional collaboration to meet financial targets

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail, Business, or Technology related roles required; 3+ years related specifically to advancing technology and business systems.
• 3+ Years demonstrated effectiveness leading people/teams
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field
• Advanced Microsoft Office usage
• History of driving the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assortment Optimization team for select category groups, providing detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Manage supporting processes and assets for the Assortment Optimization process: ticket management, data cleaning, training, Sharepoint/Teams.
• Lead and document all meetings with Category during the Assortment Optimization Process.
• Collaborate with external service providers on tool process points and enhancements.
• Lead optimization of assortment for select category groups in warehousing and Ecommerce fulfillment.
• Assist in funding collection for the Single Source program.
