Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a leader for the Assortment Optimization team to drive detailed analysis and recommendations across category groups. This role will partner with internal teams and external providers to optimize space and assortment in stores and Ecommerce.

You will oversee process management, analytics, and training, ensuring strategic inputs are captured and aligned with KPIs. Hybrid work includes 3 in-person days and 2 remote days at core locations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail, Business, or Technology related roles.
• 3+ years demonstrated effectiveness leading people/teams.
• Advanced Microsoft Office usage.
• History of driving the continuous improvement of systems, processes, and performance.
• Ability to build a strong team, engaging in a consultative and collaborative culture.
• Key skills: effective communicator, value-based decision making, customer focused, & results driven.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assortment Optimization team for select category groups with detailed analysis and recommendations.
• Manage ticket handling, attribution cleaning, cataloging, training, and Sharepoint/Teams.
• Document all meetings with Category ensuring inputs are recorded and understood.
• Collaborate with external providers on tool process points and enhancements.
• Serve as point of contact for strategic analysis requests outside the calendar.
• Optimize assortment for select groups in wareroom and Ecommerce Fulfillment Centers.
• Assist in collection of Fair Share funding for the Single Source Program.
• Lead and manage technical updates of space management systems and processes.
