Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking an Assortment Optimization Leader to drive category space planning and analytics across ADUSA brands. You will guide a team of analysts, leverage optimization tools, and collaborate with internal partners and external providers to hit annual financial targets.

The role requires 5+ years in retail/tech, 3+ years leading teams, and advanced MS Office usage. This is a hybrid role with in-person collaboration at core locations including Quincy, MA.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Retail, Business, or Technology related roles
• 3+ years leading people/teams
• Advanced Microsoft Office usage
• History of driving continuous improvement of systems, processes, and performance
• Ability to build a strong team and collaborate cross-functionally
• Demonstrated results across multiple responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead the Assortment Optimization team for select category groups and provide data-driven recommendations to category teams
• Manage processes and assets for Assortment Optimization, including ticket management, data cleaning, cataloging, training, and SharePoint/Teams
• Document all Category meetings and ensure strategic inputs are captured and understood
• Collaborate with external providers (Oliver Wyman) on tool processes and enhancements
• Serve as point of contact for strategic analysis requests outside the aligned calendar
• Lead assortment optimization for select categories in wareroom and Ecommerce Fulfillment Centers
• Assist in collection of Fair Share funding for the Single Source Program across ADUSA brands
• Deliver and implement technical updates for space management across Brick & Mortar and E‑commerce facilities
• Support values and perform additional duties as needed
