Job summary

NBCUniversal's Workforce Planning and Analysis team at Universal Studios Hollywood seeks a data-driven analyst to own labor forecasting, partnering with Industrial Engineering, park departments, HR staffing, and leadership to align hiring targets with budget and seasonal demand.

You will build real-time schedule analytics, define KPIs, and support labor schedulers with tools and reporting to improve utilization and scheduling consistency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting/finance or related field with 3+ years finance experience.
• Willing to work in Universal City and work overtime, and/or on weekends with short notice.
• Willing to submit to a background investigation and have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States.
• Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead role in Labor Forecasting for USH, partnering with IE, park departments, HR Staffing and L&OD to model labor needs, budget, and hiring targets.
• Analyze staffing levels, attrition, availability, transfers, terminations, and demand to set hiring targets by department.
• Partner with HR staffing to execute plan within timing and capacity constraints.
• Understand drivers of Team Member utilization and identify initiatives to increase utilization and reduce hiring.
• Support labor schedulers with reporting, tools and other support.
• Identify and report KPIs for WP&A and build analyses.
• Analyze past performance to set baselines and collaborate with leadership on goals.
• Create real-time tracking of weekly schedules to improve utilization.
• Recommend steps to improve performance based on data.
