Job summary

NBCUniversal is seeking a Workforce Planning & Analysis professional for Universal Studios Hollywood. The role leads labor forecasting, partners with multiple departments, and provides analytics to improve labor utilization and scheduling consistency.

You will drive hiring targets, analyze workforce data, and deliver KPI-driven insights to senior leadership, with a hybrid schedule in Southern California. The position emphasizes collaboration and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or finance with 3+ years of finance experience.
• Willing to work in Universal City, overtime and/or weekends on short notice.
• Hybrid work model requiring four days in the office per week.

Responsibilities

• Own hiring plans for USH by collaborating with IE, departments, HR Staffing and L&D.
• Analyze staffing levels, attrition, availability, transfers, and demand to set department targets.
• Partner with HR to execute the plan within hiring timing and capacity constraints.
• Identify drivers of team member utilization and propose initiatives to improve utilization.
• Support labor schedulers with reporting, tools and guidance.
• Identify KPIs for WP&A and build reporting; benchmark schedule quality.
• Track real-time weekly schedules to improve utilization and consistency.
• Recommend actions based on data analytics.
