Job summary

ASQ is seeking a Knowledge Management Specialist to oversee metadata, taxonomy, and content-classification across enterprise search, CMS, and AI-enabled platforms. You will ensure QA, consistent governance, and coordination with content owners while supporting migrations and platform changes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years in knowledge management and content management, with a hybrid work arrangement in Milwaukee. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information science, communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in knowledge management and website content management.
• This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain approved metadata, taxonomy, tagging, controlled-vocabulary, and content-classification standards.
• Support content ingestion and indexing, monitor source health and failures, validate new content.
• Support day-to-day search-platform configuration, relevance testing, synonyms, filters, and facets.
• Maintain approved knowledge sources and execute retrieval, content-quality, and AI-readiness tests.
• Provide metadata, indexing, inventory, QA, and documentation support for migrations and large-scale governance.
• Maintain SOPs, change logs, testing scripts, and training materials for content creators.
• Compile routine reporting on search, indexing, metadata, and knowledge quality.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.
