Job summary

ASQ, the premier quality organization in Milwaukee, seeks a Knowledge Management Specialist to administer enterprise knowledge, search, and AI-enabled platforms. You will apply governance standards to classify, test, and maintain digital content across ASQ’s web and content systems.

Experience with enterprise search, CMS/content platforms, and content migrations is preferred. This hybrid Milwaukee role offers competitive compensation in a flexible, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information science, communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in knowledge management and website content management.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
• Must comply with attendance and timeliness policies.
• Role not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain approved metadata, taxonomy, tagging, controlled-vocabulary, and content-classification standards.
• Coordinate routine corrections with content owners.
• Support content ingestion and indexing, monitor source health, validate content.
• Coordinate remediation with technical teams and vendors.
• Support search-platform configuration, relevance testing, synonyms, filters, and facets.
• Maintain knowledge sources and execute retrieval and AI-readiness tests.
• Provide documentation support for content migrations and platform changes.
• Prepare routine reporting on search, indexing, and knowledge quality.
