The Knowledge Management Specialist supports daily administration, metadata governance, content-indexing, and AI-readiness standards across ASQ's enterprise platforms.

Hybrid work, Milwaukee HQ; 2+ years KM experience preferred. The role involves applying taxonomy standards, content ingestion, indexing, and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information science, communications, marketing, business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in knowledge management and website content management.
• This role is not eligible for U.S. immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Apply and maintain metadata, taxonomy, tagging, and content-classification standards with content owners.
• Support content ingestion and indexing; monitor source health and coordinate remediation with technical teams.
• Assist day-to-day search-platform configuration, relevance testing, synonyms, filters, and facets.
• Maintain knowledge sources and execute retrieval tests to identify missing or poorly retrieved content.
• Provide metadata, indexing, inventory, quality-assurance for content migrations and large-scale governance initiatives.
• Maintain operating procedures, change logs, testing scripts, and reference materials; support training for content creators.
• Compile routine search and metadata reporting; track issues and recommend operational improvements.
• Adheres to ASQ competencies: Trust, Accountability, Collaboration, Transparency.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
