Job summary

Plona Partners seeks an experienced Knowledge Management Attorney in Chicago to transform how litigation and labor & employment matters are captured, organized and delivered. The role combines deep legal practice with KM and technology, aligning attorney work with AI-driven workflows and scalable resources.

You will partner with attorneys, firm leadership and business services to implement KM programs, templates, and data-driven insights across practice groups.

Qualifications

• JD required with substantial legal practice experience.
• Strong litigation background with practice in law firms.
• Labor & Employment exposure valued by the team.
• Exceptional drafting, writing and analytical skills.
• Ability to translate attorney needs into scalable resources.

Responsibilities

• Developing model documents, templates and precedents.
• Organizing high-value attorney work product and resources.
• Improving document organization, metadata and naming conventions.
• Creating workflows to improve efficiency in Litigation and L&E matters.
• Collaborating with IT, BI, information governance and training teams.
• Supporting AI adoption and evaluating new KM platforms.
• Participating in technology pilots and QA initiatives.
