Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP seeks a Knowledge Strategy Specialist in New York (hybrid) to support knowledge management projects across practices. The role collaborates with KM counsel and lawyers to organize know-how and implement lawyer-facing technologies.

The KM Specialist will help collect and update resources, promote KM initiatives, and support automation and AI-driven tools to boost productivity and efficiency firm-wide.

Qualifications

Experience in a corporate or large law firm environment.
Understanding of transactional practice workflows and processes.
Experience with GenAI tools (e.g., Harvey) and AI-enabled due diligence tools.
Ability to learn new KM applications and apply them in the firm’s environment.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement KM solutions to increase firm-wide productivity.
Collect, organize and maintain knowledge resources for practice sites.
Support practitioners with locating knowledge resources and using KM tools.
Monitor legal industry developments relevant to KM initiatives.
Assist with automation of documents and workflows using automation software.
