Job summary

Spectrum Brands’ Pet Care division seeks an Associate National Account Manager to lead sales and relationship growth with key Retail, Wholesale, and Distributor partners across the US. You will craft strategic plans, forecasts, and presentations, coordinating omni-channel promotions and events.

You will collaborate with Brand, Product, and Trade Marketing teams, manage broker partnerships, and build line reviews, program updates, and buyer relationships while tracking POS performance and market

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business or related discipline.
• 5 years in retail field sales and direct account responsibility.
• 2-4 years in consumer products industry.
• High proficiency with syndicated data or category management.

Responsibilities

• Develop profitable strategies to maximize SKU listings and assortment.
• Lead development of annual quotas and profit plan.
• Create sales action plans; monitor results vs. plan and adjust as needed.
• Learn and utilize Category Management and Fact-Based Selling concepts to uncover whitespace opportunities for Strategic Accounts.
• Manage the Broker partnership to complete all administrative forms and programs.
• Partner with Brand, Product and Trade Marketing teams to identify and evaluate new product ideas.
• Build and deliver presentations for line reviews, programs, mid-season updates, etc.
• Maintain buyer-level relationships and provide regular updates of POS performance and trends.
