Job summary

Cinespace Studios is hiring a Jr. Staff Accountant to join the finance team in a hybrid capacity in Chicago, IL. You will handle core accounting processes across AP, AR, cash, and reconciliations, applying GAAP to ensure accurate month-end close.

You will work cross-functionally with internal operations, sales, vendors, and customers, developing your accounting skillset while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced studio environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent
• U.S. GAAP knowledge and full accounting cycle experience
• 0–2 years accounting experience; internship acceptable
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage AP/AR processes, contracts, POs, accruals and billing discrepancies
• Oversee cash activity and reconciliations; prepare journal entries
• Own month-end close schedules and variance analysis
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and vendors to resolve issues
