Job summary

WSP in the U.S. is seeking a Junior Project Controls Scheduler to join our Project Controls team in Glastonbury. This is a hybrid position.

The candidate will assist senior schedulers, track progress, support critical path analysis, and prepare schedule updates and reports. A Bachelor’s in a related field and 1–3 years of experience are required, with familiarity in Primavera P6 and Excel helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years in construction or project controls.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and report preparation.
• US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior schedulers in reviewing contractor schedules for compliance with contract documents.
• Track and verify progress against baseline schedules.
• Support critical path analysis and schedule quality reviews.
• Collect and validate schedule progress information from contractors, inspectors, and project team members.
• Prepare schedule updates, progress narratives, and graphical reports (Gantt charts, histograms).
• Support What-If and recovery schedule scenarios.
• Assist with Time Impact Analyses (TIA) and claims reviews.
• Develop planning schedules and resource/cost loading concepts.
• Participate in schedule review meetings and collaborate with project teams.
• Schedule / Progress Reporting.
