Job summary

Primary Talent Partners invites applications for a Senior Project Controls - Scheduler on a 3-year contract in Plainfield, IN. This hybrid role requires expert scheduling using Primavera P6 and senior-level project controls knowledge.

You will lead scheduling efforts, develop reporting systems, and mentor other PC staff, with responsibility for cost control and schedule integrity across high-complexity projects.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a four-year college or university in business, finance, project management, engineering, technical, or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera (P6).
• Minimum of 11 years of project controls scheduling experience using Primavera (P6) in lieu of a degree.
• Expert in project controls principles.
• Expertise / Mastery with project management / project controls concepts / computer applications / analytics; employee development; strong collaborative team member; oversight.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the reporting systems for project controls assignments.
• Perform complex aspects of scheduling, change documentation and cost control while reporting up to program or portfolio level.
• Train and teach other members of PC organization with minimal oversight and wide latitude for unreviewed work.
• Have advanced skills using Primavera (P6) and the ability to work independently.
• Interact with project teams and external Suppliers/Vendors to obtain information to build/update schedules.
