Aston Carter in Parsippany, NJ is seeking a Junior Buyer to support a new corporate credit card and travel booking program. You will gather employee data, enter it into systems, and serve as a primary contact during the transition, gaining hands-on purchasing experience in a professional office setting.

The role is hybrid, with onsite days and remote work, and offers a clear path to a permanent position for strong performers. Prior purchasing/data entry experience is valued on a contract basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year experience using Word and Excel (advanced skills not required).
• Experience in purchasing, data entry, or administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of a new corporate credit card program by collecting employee information and entering data.
• Assist employees with initial questions and provide guidance during the transition.
• Complete administrative tasks and projects to support management with accuracy.
• Prepare invoice vouchers by matching POs and quotes, verify amounts, and forward to Accounts Payable.
• Maintain and update vendor user lists to support procurement activities.
• Handle inquiries from field personnel and provide timely guidance and resolution.
