Job summary

JCDecaux North America is seeking a Junior Purchasing Buyer to source and purchase goods and services for custom-designed products used in Street Furniture, Airports, and Mall programs. The role is based in our Empire State Building office and operates in a hybrid work model.

You will obtain quotes, create POs in SAP, manage open POs, and work with Purchasing and Finance to meet process flow. Strong communication and organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in Purchasing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in Excel for reports and charts.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes from suppliers and create purchase orders in SAP.
• Oversee open PO’s, supplier confirmations, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance to meet process flow requirements.
• Conduct Annual Supplier Evaluations.
• Coordinate Purchase Requests with external Operations Staff nationwide.
• Maintain PO and Material Master data in SAP.
