Job summary

JCDecaux North America in New York seeks a Junior Purchasing Buyer to report to the Director of Program Management. This full-time, hybrid role sits at our Empire State Building office and supports sourcing for Street Furniture, Airport, and Mall programs.

You will manage quotes, purchase orders in SAP, supplier communications, and data entry while collaborating with Purchasing and Finance. An Associate degree and 2+ years of purchasing experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years purchasing experience.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings is preferred.
• Strong Excel reporting and charting skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Organizational efficiency and process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes from suppliers and create purchase orders in SAP.
• Oversee open POs, supplier confirmations, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Finance to meet process flow requirements.
• Conduct Annual Supplier Evaluations.
• Coordinate Purchase Requests with external Operations Staff across the country.
• Manage all Departmental Expense Type purchases.
• Maintain accurate PO and Material Master data in SAP.
