Job summary

Koniag IT Systems, LLC is seeking an experienced ITSM Platform Administrator to support our government customer in Washington, DC. The role is hybrid with 2 days onsite, requiring the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The candidate will administer and improve the enterprise ITSM platform (ServiceNow or equivalent), manage incident/problem/change/configuration/knowledge modules, and maintain integrations with monitoring and security tooling, while contributing to reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years administering an enterprise ITSM platform, preferably ServiceNow.
• Working knowledge of ITIL 4 service management practices (incident, problem, change, configuration, knowledge management).
• Experience with ITSM platform configuration, workflow design, and reporting/dashboard development.
• Familiarity with integrating ITSM platforms with monitoring, CMDB discovery, and security tooling.

Responsibilities

• Administer enterprise ITSM platform (ServiceNow or equivalent), including instance configuration, user/group access, workflow design, and catalog administration.
• Support incident, problem, change, CMDB, and knowledge management modules to ensure data quality and ITIL 4 alignment.
• Configure and maintain integrations between ITSM and infrastructure, monitoring, and security tooling.
• Build and maintain reports/dashboards reflecting SLA/OLA performance and platform health.
• Support platform upgrades, patches, and testing cycles with vendor and stakeholders.
• Govern automation and AI-enabled platform features within guardrails and change control.
• Maintain platform documentation and administrator runbooks.
• Support audit and security activities per guidelines (NIST SP 800-53).
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for platform incidents and requests.
